This stropper is ready-to-use.
It has the smooth grain-side leather on the one side, and has the flesh-side leather on the other side.

1. Apply sewing machine oil or honing oil on the flesh-side leather, and then, rub the Jewelers Rouge evenly.
2. Polish the blade on it.
3. Rub the blade on the grain-side leather for finishing.
