Thin and firm cloth with crispness. Recommendable for use as an inlay for leather goods and such with oriental touch.
Selvedge finish allows you to create small items by making use of the width.


Hishigiku (diamond shape chrysanthemum) : Chrysanthemum has traditionally been linked to sun and found as a protector against bad spirits.
Chrysanthemum become a symbol of perpetual youth and longevity as it was said drinking chrysanthemum water lead to keeping longevity in Chinese folklore.
Diamond shape is also believed to protect someone against bad spirits and evils.
The pattern with both chrysanthemum and diamond has been known as a lucky safeguard pattern which avoids misfortune.
