Tatami-beri is edging cloth for tatami's long-side direction. The cloth is thin, firm and has crispness.
Thin and firm cloth with crispness. Recommendable for use as an inlay for leather goods and such with oriental touch.
Selvedge finish allows you to create small items by making use of the width.


Waribishi (split diamond): It is also called "Takedabishi" since the pattern was used as Takeda clan's family crest.
Diamond shape is also believed to protect someone against bad luck and evil spirits.
